I know that Dr. B is an excellent Doc, but the reason I did not give a 10 is because he has so many patients that I feel like his time with me is too short. He is always pleasant and knowledgeable, but he is always in a rush. I often have questions that arise out of the visit, but several times, when I have thought of these, he is on his way out to see another patient and I feel as if I need to cut my conversation short. I have left the office more than once without all the information I needed. That is not my ideal model for medical care.

Although the quality of care and surgery itself was flawless, there was a noticeable lack of after-care communication and the expectation of recovery time was greatly minimized. I recommend that after surgery (no matter how small of a procedure) there should be a standard after-care hand out to the patient so that they would have a realistic expectation of recovery and some sort of a communication line as to who/when to call if any issues.

I saw Dr.Baravarian for the first time although I’d seen Dr.Franson in the Valencia location several times prior. Baravian was recommended by a DPM for evaluation of complications I experienced following foot surgery.I found him a bit dismissive and not really interested in treating me which was ok because I was scheduled to see Dr.Franson later the same day whose ratings would be 10 across the board.I’m fond of UFAI simply because of Dr.Franson. I can’t comment on Dr.Baravarian’s knowledge simply because he didn’t share much with me after deciding that “I did not need him,” but provided a reference to someone he felt was more suitable for me. I can say I respect his honesty. Yes,the office does require a credit card being left on your account but I was billed appropriately.

Dr Baravarian and staff have been treating me for years on and off . I really appreciate his expertise and the quality of care I have received over the years . The staff and Dr are always so nice. I would recommend Dr. Baravarian to anyone that I know That Needs an amazing doctor .

I had an appointment to pick up my orthotics at the Santa Monica location and when I arrived there I was told there was no appointment for me.
I was told that my appointment had been cancelled, which I was not aware of. Furthermore, my appointment had been made for the Sherman Oaks office, which I've never been to.
Since it was only picking up the orthotics, it wasn't that important but I had still made the appointment.
After some confusion on whether the orthotics were even in the office, they were found and Dr Baravarian's assistant fitted my orthotics.
Please be more mindful when making appointments for people.

Doctor is in and out too fast. Didn't communicate what I needed for PT, so I didn't go. I can do PT at home, just need to know what to do. I've always been made well, so I'll keep coming back. Staff is fine.

The very first appoint I had, the young woman at the desk didn't have the knowledge about my Scan insurance and told me that I needed much more paperwork than I actually did. She treated me like I was trying to scam her. I told her the actual situation about my coverage, which was actually correct. She left me standing at the desk. When she came back she said there was nothing she could do without a recommendation from my primary care specialist, which turned out not to be incorrect. I had to go back home after making special arrangements to get there. I called my insurance who reassured me my information was accurate. When I called to make another appointment the gentleman understood the foulup and rescheduled me, making sure I didn't get turned away unnecessarily once again.
