Dr. Baravarian corrected a failed Cartiva Implant by removing it and fusing my right big toe joint. I was terrified I would never be able to be active again. So far, so good. He has a wonderful bedside manner, explained in detail why fusion was my best choice and was communicative throughout my recovery. His staff is wonderful, caring and everyone is efficient. I never have to wait for my appts and I am in and out in record time, which I appreciate since I drive 40 miles to see him. Excellent care and I highly recommend!

Wonderful experience!
This was a second visit to remove my 93 year old mother’s corns from her little toe. The receptionist was pleasant & very efficient. The nurse who prepped her was smiling & quick to setup. Dr. Baravarian has a delightful bedside manner. He assessed the toe while chatting with my mother and in just a blink of an eye, the procedure was completed. No pain. My mother was so happy with the visit and outcome. Dr. Bob reassured her that she could come in anytime to repeat the process as necessary. Thank you Dr. Bob!

The staff at the appointment took good care of me, however it was before that that I had many problems. 1) My phone number was not copied correctly into the system so messages were left on the wrong number, even after I emailed my correct information to Maria. 2) Maria kept insisting that I was to pay $520 for my orthotics, when my EOB stated it should be $448. She said my insurance plan told her they would only pay if I had diabetes, but they told me that wasn't a stipulation. It was only when I talked to Diana in the billing department that I was able to straighten this out. 3) When I called to see if the orthotics were ready, I was told they had been for over a week and messages had been left for me (see problem #1). I was not able to go to the Sherman Oaks office on the days the doctor was there, so I asked if they could be sent to me. I left 3 messages to ask about this (3/28, 3/29, 4/4) but no one returned my calls. It wasn't until I spoke to Yvonne (receptionist) that I understood that I didn't have to come to the Sherman Oaks office, but could come to Santa Monica instead. So FINALLY, after 3 months from my original appointment I got my orthotics. Exhausting!

Dr Baravarian has been of great help in addressing the problem with flat feet by providing a wonderful ankle support on one foot. He has not addressed the problem with the other foot which is also quite flat. In addition the two feet now have different orthotics with the one orthotic having a heel and other not having one of the same nature. This contributes to my difficulty in walking since one foot is on a higher plain than the other. I have stenosis and scoliosis that also creates a problem, but I would prefer not to exacerbate the condition. I am very pleased with your office and Dr. Baravarian, but feel there is further effort needed.

Recommend having an automated doors to allow patients with foot and ankle issues access the office area more easily.

Doctor correctly diagnosed my issue after having been misdiagnosed by other doctors elsewhere. I definitely plan on making this my primary Foot and Ankle location.

The girl at checkin wasn’t exactly rude, but she wasn’t very friendly. When I asked for clarification of something, she simply reread verbatim the part I was asking about. Didn’t smile at all.
I called to schedule a follow up appointment for a procedure and the young girl was nice, but clueless. I told her my name, I had just seen Dr. Baravarian the day before and I was calling to schedule an appt for PRP ( which Dr. B recommended). She asked me my name, if I had been there before, what doctor did I see, etc. She did not hear anything I had told her. I Also said that I think he has specific time slots for the PRP, but she scheduled me for a regular time slot. I told her 2 more times that I was told there are specific time slots for the PRP. She finally put me on hold to ask someone then rescheduled me approximately. Good thing I wouldn’t be showing up for nothing. I’ll cut her some slack, because I would guess she is new?

Excellent care from beginning to end! Dr Baravarian is amazing. - very talented, comprehensive and extremely nice! All the people in the office are very competent, polite and efficient. I highly recommend this practice!

Excellent all the way around! Fusion on 2/11/19 after a failed Cartiva a year earlier by another surgeon. So far, so good. Everyone in both offices (Sherman Oaks and Santa Monica) are very caring and have great bedside mannner!
