I feel very comfortable with Dr Baravarian’s recommendations, particularly after obtaining a second opinion which would require a major lifestyle change for me. Now I just need to schedule my surgery

Dr Baravarian and the entire UFAI staff were wonderful, kind and very professional. Every interaction with the team at the office and at the surgery center was enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend the University Foot and Ankle Institute to anyone needing their services!

Our visit with Dr Baravarian was great, he took his time to explain the injury and to give instructions for recovery, he was also quick to answer my questions by email, we felt very confident we saw the right Doctor.

I am 72 years old and had double foot surgery in March. I am walking 1 1/2 miles a day, including doing half of it backwards for therapy. I plan to be back to running in a month or 2. My surgeries were very successful.

I hope to have another appointment with Dr. Baravarian since the issue with my foot has not been resolved. I am setting up an appointment for acupuncture and will be back in touch with the office after I discover the results of that treatment. Thankyou. Jacqueline Craven

I have noticed a change in staff over the last 5 months. many left who were also students learning on the job. Now most appear not to be students in training but long experienced assistants with Dr. Baravarian, my doctor. The care is much better now because these workers are experienced and have worked with the doctor for years. I do understand people need training on the job but the delivery of care and expertise was not on the same level as it is now. Previously, I had an appointment in March, and someone didn't show up for work and they were understaffed and I was asked to reschedule.

I’m very happy with my doctor so lucky to have found him.
The only problem I have is at the end when I need letter for my work it becomes a problem. That creates problem with my manager. I know staff are busy but they could take a second to discuss about my restrictions letter.
Hope next month I won’t have problems.

everyone was very kind and helpful. although paying 71 dollars for taping my toe to the other toe seems a little extreme (this is why i generally dont go to the doctor, this is exactly what it said to do online, but i got worried. Next time i will spend 4 dollars on the tape myself.) I didnt go to my followup appt because i bought my own tape.

Very happy with the attention I received from Dr Baravarian and his entire staff. Received the diagnosis of my foot problem and the remedy. Wait time was minimal, and Dr Baravarian spent as much time as I needed to answer my questions. Very friendly Doctor’s office!!

The only “complaint “ I have is that no one ever explained to me how to fit my brace into a shoe until this last visit. I did not understand that the sleeve was supposed to come off, this, finding it necessary to wear flip flops which I’m sure hasn’t helped my recovery. Bought some sturdy shoes that the brace fits in to

Cheli (or Shelly) in Scheduling (who also handles Disability) is really thorough and professional. The woman at reception at the Sherman Oaks office is always cheerful and helpful. I'm very happy with Dr. Bob and have already recommended him.
