The billing department could be improved. You demand payment up front even if your insurance pays for it , then it takes 4-5 months to be reimbursed and that is with multiple calls to billing. After finally being sent out a check, billing made a $380 check out to my 14 year old son(patient)instead of the parent who’s insured and paid. Asking for a credit card to be on file so you can charge it whenever you want, without any follow up email receipts comes off predatory. I have to take time out of my schedule to call billing to ask for a receipt. The setup seems backward, if I spend more time calling you to get explanations and my money reimbursed. Our doctor is great but the billing makes me have second thoughts about making future appointments.

I got major attitude from the assistant I asked to change out of latex gloves. I have a verified allergy, and this has been an issue in your office previously.
There’s also a lack of clarity about what now I ended up costing, and why I was charged a $35 co-pay every time I saw the doctor for literally two minutes. I really like Dr. Briskin, but this process got really long and complicated and worse, spanned two plan years. Not happy!
Also, twice I was told that’s someone called and left a message that my orthotics were ready. I only have one phone number, there were no messages, and there was no indication that someone had called and didn’t leave a message. Consequently I lost probably two months, altogether.
Now for the good stuff: the office is exceptionally clean, which I appreciate it, and Covid Management is done well.

Dr. Briskin is probably one of the 2 best podiatrists I've ever seen. However, he put me in the hands of his assistant on my first visit to probe around in my foot the same way the emergency doctor did, with no result, even though I was telling her where the foreign body was. It was very large & painful. This left me to walk around on my foot, while waiting to get the MRI (which took along time because of what was & still is happening in my life). Causing the wood to dig deeper into my foot which was not good. I have a large scar which is still painful. I still wonder if it is all out of my foot. That said, I have faith in Dr Briskin who, in the end, listened to me & removed it fairly easily. He also diagnosed an issue I've been complaining about for nearly 30 years that everyone else overlooked or dismissed & subsequently ignored as unimportant. It is my deep hope that he can & will resolve this painful issue. I have confidence in Dr. Briskin's knowledge & abilities which gives me encouragement. Thank you.

After only a few minutes waiting. Dr. Briskin is probably one of the 2 best podiatrists I've ever seen. I have faith in Dr Briskin who, listened to me & removed an enormous chunk of wood lodged in my foot, fairly easily, after the Cedars Emergency Room bungled it 4 days prior. He also diagnosed an issue I've been complaining about for nearly 30 years that everyone else overlooked or dismissed & subsequently ignored as unimportant. It is my deep hope that he can & will resolve this painful issue. I have confidence in Dr. Briskin's knowledge & abilities which gives me encouragement. Thank you.

I didn’t receive this survey, when I saw Dr.Bob, it was my first time seeing someone, after Dr.Redkar left. I would not return if he was the only other podiatrist there. He basically threw a tantrum at the staff, a loud one, for myself and other patients to hear. It was appalling behavior, and incredibly unprofessional. Fortunately, I was able to see Dr. Brisken, and was happy with his care. And did return.

The doctor breezed in and breezed out and didn’t leave much time or space for questions. I get that he does this every day, and it’s all very simple, but it was new to me, and everything was very very rushed. Afterward I didn’t feel I had a clear understanding of the issue and didn’t think I was totally heard. He was very nice and friendly though.
