Overall, I am satisfied. I really liked how the X-rays could be taken immediately in the office. I thought the doctor listened well to what I said, but I wish the recommendations the doctor made would have been put in writing without me having to ask for it in writing first. The exit process seemed a little bit disorganized because I was told by the doctor that I would receive heel lifts, but the person checking me out did not know if I had received them or not. I also didn't know the price of the heel lifts until the moment I was supposed to pay for them. It would have been nice for someone to mention how much they cost before asking me whether I'm willing to accept them. Fortunately, the $10 charge for them was not a problem for me, but it might be for some people.
Overall, as I said I was very pleased and look forward to coming back if I ever need more help. The issues I raised above I consider to be minor and not a big deal.

Dr. Franson is most responsive and willing to make himself available for consults even after hours in an emergency. He waited through his lunch hour for my late arrival to perform a brief procedure to alleviate some post surgery pain from a suture. Very grateful for that and the pain is gone!

I was seen at the Valencia, CA office and Dr. Franson is my podiatrist. He’s done such an amazing job with my foot. I had suffered from plantar fasciitis, bone spurs and a rod that was preventing me from moving my big toe. He took care of all that just yesterday with a surgery. I must say it’s a lot for one foot but I’m amazed at how little pain there is. He’s such a wonderful doctor who really cares. He’s patient, kind and explains things to you in a way you understand exactly what’s going on and what to expect. His staff is great too! Sabrina is on top of her game and gets things done from scheduling surgeries, getting you a boot to wear after your surgery, to any paperwork you need to turn in to your work. I can’t recommend them enough.

Dr. Justin Franson and his staff are absolutely the most passionate, dedicated and professional office I have ever experienced for foot care. I can say this with authority as I am a very successful music businessman who has been to numerous podiatrists and orthopedic surgeons in Beverly Hills, Westwood and Santa Monica. If I moved back there (and I wouldn’t because of insane traffic) I would easily battle the traffic to get the best foot and ankle care in Southern California.
And, thanks to Dr. Franson’s skilled ankle replacement surgery I may run another marathon!
I am also pleased to see that his daughter is in school taking up the passion and to follow in his footsteps.
It’s nice that a family tradition will carry on!

Dr. Franson is very caring and detailed. He is concerned about me, my progress, and what my insurance will cover. The office staff are amazing (which is a direct reflection of how Dr. Franson runs his office). Jennifer knows each patient by name when they walk into the office. Would highly recommend and I have referred others to Dr. Franson.

I couldn't have asked for better care. ALL the staff, from the front desk to Dr Franson were friendly, kind, caring, and informative. Also very timely, very little wait for appointments, and an amazing bedside manner. Just flawless.
