There are only a couple of things I was unhappy with.

1. I was never told about the option for purchasing a waterproof boot cover until I had failed at using a trash bag. As a result, I had to arrange a ride to the Santa Monica office to rebandage my foot.

2. The receptionists are not very friendly and therefore give a negative first impression to patients. One of them continually wears her mask under her nose instead of covering it.

Otherwise, my experience with Dr. Baravarian and his technician as a positive one.

Dr. Baravarians receptionist would benefit from better communication with eachother. On a few occasions there were some discrepancies with scheduling and insurance related issues. If I didn't speak up for myself I would've gotten charged more than I did and this happened several times (I knew to expect this already from an online review).

The nurses and doctor were exceptional though and I'm happy with the results of my surgery and the care provided. PTs and their receptionist were also outstanding and provided excellent care and communication.

Dr. Baravarian is a highly skilled, very knowledgeable, and insightful surgeon and physician. His expertise is outstanding. Last year, I fractured my ankle. His treatment of the fracture was excellent. I walk around now and it's like I never even had the fracture. I also had some issues with ingrown toenails that were causing me a great deal of pain and discomfort. I went to other podiatrists and they were never able to completely eradicate the problems. After being treated by Dr. Baravarian, they are completely gone. His staff is also excellent and highly skilled.

Great Experience. Doctor Bob has helped me through 3 ankle surgeries and has helped me get back to normal as well as to get back into sports again. Very grateful for the service! Good care and he definitely knows what he is doing.

During my first appointment with Dr. Baravarian I felt rushed and my concerns weren’t addressed very well. I’m glad that I called the office before my follow-up appt to make sure my orthotics arrived because they hadn’t, so my appt was rescheduled. At the time of my follow-up, only 1 pair was ready and they said I’d have to come back the following week to get them... so that’s another co-pay, parking fee, gasoline, and overall time spent. I hope that my future appts are better & smoother.

Dr Nalbandian really listened and explained everything without rushing through allowing time for all of my questions. Her recommendations were more meaningful because she shared her own experiences pertinent to my situation. She was wonderful! Very pleased with all the staff. Adrian was very patient and kind during the intake and xrays.

My first time at the office, the staff were very helpful. The doctor was professional and knowledgeable about the issue. However I had a few questions after the doctor left the exam room. I would have liked to know: what exercises can I or should I do? What should I not do? Anything I should watch out for in issue getting worse, etc.

We only had one appointment with Dr. Bavarian but we were impressed with him. He ended up referring us to another surgeon who could do the procedure our daughter needs arthroscopically. We've heard about Dr. Bavarian's tremendous skill as a surgeon. We were impressed with his honesty, integrity and care for our daughter.
