Great experience overall. Loved Dr Jafary. The only thing that could have been more helpful is if someone would have mentioned how heavy, bulky and impractical your scooters are. No one ever suggested that I would need help managing such a big scooter or that I should consider the size of my house before choosing to rent it. I asked if I could also have crutches once I saw the size of the scooter and realized I wouldn’t be able to use it at home. It seems to me that you deal with this every day and you should at least mention points to consider before being sending a patient off with something that really won’t work for them. I never used the scooter once after leaving your office. I couldn’t lift it safely out of the back of my car while standing on one foot, and I didn’t think it would be safe to hop all the way to the front, even if I could have lifted it. Also, the attitude I got from the front office (we’re very busy) when I asked if someone could help me bring it from my car back to your office, made me feel like I’d crossed some sort of line. I’m in a cast. I can’t bring it back to you and get back to my car! I’m sure lots of people have that issue!

Dr. Jafary is awesome! I came in with badly ingrown toenails that I have had for years. I recently learned that not everyone has ingrown nails that make it hurt to wear shoes or walk (here I was thinking, that I was a wimp for wanting to see a Dr for my toenails).

Dr. Jafary took all the time needed to lay out my options for treatment, both short and long term. He explained to me the various factors that influenced why I have them, and how treatment would pan out for me. I felt like I was able to make an educated decision for myself. He was kind, gentle, and totally concerned with my well being. His bedside manner is lovely, and I would return to him in a heartbeat for future visits.

Final score... I have only positive things to say about the entire staff that I interacted with at University Foot and Ankle Institute. Without hesitation, I would recommend this practice.

Doctor Franson is a genius as a doctor, but even more he is concerned with your personal needs. He listens ,gives great advise with honest facts and medical evidence .I was being treated by him for a bone infection brought on by another disease that I have. Also was having some other medical issues. Because of his intelligence he ran several test pertaining to my infection.If it had not been for him ,my discovery of cancer would have not been clearly diagnosed.He was also able to recommend a surgeon for my cancer surgery after a prior surgeon told me I would not survive the surgery. I was in tears when he took the time out of his heavy schedule to listen to me and pass on a phone number if I wanted to call. Because of him I am still alive and starting my radiation therapy.Thank god for sending me to him. He is more than a ten rating and beyond.

The staff at the Valencia UFAI is beyond helpful. They are always very accommodating, cheerful, knowledgeable and friendly. I truly adore them all. A Huge shoutout to all of them.

Dr Franson is most likely the finest physician I have ever had in my life! He never, ever makes me feel rushed or unimportant. He always listens to my complaints as though it’s the first time he has ever heard of them. He is my champion and staunchest advocate to try to get to the root of my many problems. I have proven to be a somewhat complicated case requiring several surgeries. I have only had his full attention and concerns regarding my situation. I would never consider seeing any other doctor for my foot and ankle pains. Dr Franson is my ride or die doctor as far as my foot goes! I highly recommend him.

I have had a great experience with Dr Franson, he is such a nice person, very caring, very knowledgeable, and highly experienced. The entire staff are amazing. so caring and attentive in every way. You always feel welcomed. I would highly recommend him if you need a podiatrist.

It was a good experience. Everyone is very nice. I really liked the doctor.

My only "complaint" is that I was told the orthotics would take 2 to 3 weeks and it took 5+ weeks. I lived 50 years without them so it's not like I could not wait a bit longer. In fact - my schedule has not allowed me to get them yet. But the time prediction could be a bit more accurate. This was an issue with my daughter's orthotics as well -- and she did need them in the time frame that was promised. So out of a sample size of two the prediction time was off by multiple weeks 100% of the time.

That all said. I am looking forward to years of good feet health and will not only come back but will suggest to my neighbors and friends.

I am not a really good patient as I have quite a bit of anxiety when it comes to doctors and definitely surgery. All of the personnel that handled my treatment were explained everything in a professional manner while still having a compassionate and caring attitude

Dr Franson is an excellent doctor, and his staff are great. His bedside manner is excellent. I always look forward to seeing him. You can trust in his experience he is extremely talented, passionate and knowledgeable about his work. I choose him as my doctor because he is humble, very caring , genuine and really spend his time on you and he is willing to answer all your questions. I would highly recommend him to anybody.
